We are seeking a skilled Radiology CT Technologist PRN to join our team at Texas Health Cleburne. As a Radiology CT Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for explaining procedures to patients and their families, imaging the correct anatomical area of interest, and performing complex procedures according to department protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, and troubleshoot as needed.
- Correctly send and transfer images to PACS.
- Assess and recognize patients' emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions.
- Operate, care for, and maintain equipment.
- Prepare rooms for examinations and maintain equipment and rooms to sanitary standards between patients.
- Administer contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology upon hire required or Associate Degree (preferred).
- 1 year radiologic technologist experience without ARRT-CT (required) or No experience with ARRT-CT (required).
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (required) and ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) (required) or ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) (if 1 year radiology technician exp) within 12 Months (required).
