About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Manager, Fleet to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our DSP & DA Communications and Engagement team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic communications plans to support our fleet management and vehicle deployment initiatives.

As a Senior Communications Manager, Fleet, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop content that supports Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance, and other critical on-road initiatives. You will be responsible for translating complex messaging into simple and easy-to-understand content to help launch new programs and products, and for developing a multi-channel strategy that includes written communications, executive messaging, and video content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans to support fleet management and vehicle deployment initiatives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop content that supports DOT compliance and other critical on-road initiatives
  • Translate complex messaging into simple and easy-to-understand content to help launch new programs and products
  • Develop a multi-channel strategy that includes written communications, executive messaging, and video content
  • Partner with stakeholders to ingest customer listening data and use it to inform a communication strategy
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications and campaigns
About the Team

The DSP & DA Communications and Engagement team is a high-performing team of 15+ leaders who are passionate about developing and implementing strategic communications plans to support our fleet management and vehicle deployment initiatives. We are a collaborative and inclusive team who approach each other with respect and humility, and who have fun every day by answering Questions of the Day (QOTD) in Slack, sharing memes, and hosting interactive team building events.

We are based in different cities across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, but we are connected through our shared passion for developing and implementing strategic communications plans to support our fleet management and vehicle deployment initiatives.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience developing complex and strategic communications that educate large audiences
  • Excellent prioritization skills, with the ability to help others do the same
  • Experience managing both internal and agency partners as part of a holistic go-to-market strategy
  • Highly developed and polished written communication skills
  • Experience working autonomously to develop and propose strategies for improvements
  • Strong project management skills and experience, including managing internal stakeholders and multiple projects at once
  • Attention to detail, particularly when it comes to proofing copy and content
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base pay that ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
