Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting extensive life sciences construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, oversee, and refine the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the owner.
  • Establish the framework for schedule management and deliverables applicable to large-scale capital projects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to project stakeholders, providing insightful guidance and recommendations.
  • Prepare baseline schedules and accompanying documentation for team approval.
  • Conduct resource loading and leveling for schedules.
  • Integrate contractor schedules into the IMS.
  • Evaluate impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities, reporting findings to the project team.
  • Monitor deviations and variances in the schedule, assisting in the development of corrective strategies.
  • Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to assess project progress.
  • Regularly review schedules with team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data.
  • Generate and present schedule progress reports, trending charts, and analyses periodically.
  • Maintain documentation of scope changes, trends, and variances affecting schedule performance.
  • Ensure the reliability of information within the schedule.
  • Maintain communication with clients and other consultants throughout all project phases.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience as a planner/scheduler on capital projects, encompassing both design and construction phases.
  • Proven experience working within complex matrix environments.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Experience in the construction sector is required; candidates with additional life sciences experience are highly preferred.
  • Local candidates are preferred; however, relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
