Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Electronics Component Specialist to become a vital part of our Components Engineering Team. This team plays a crucial role in the selection, documentation, and release of high-quality components across various product lines.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:

  • Act as the primary component authority for project teams across different commodities.
  • Facilitate new product launches by developing cost models, timelines, and qualification processes, while also suggesting alternative components and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Identify and assess new potential suppliers for components.
  • Analyze component Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and Failure Analysis (FA) reports to evaluate risks and issues related to projects.
  • Oversee and document all root cause failure analyses for components, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Prepare and release comprehensive component specifications.
  • Conduct commodity research to uncover supply chain opportunities and monitor supplier development plans.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, including approximately 3 years in a component engineering or related role.
  • Strong coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Industrial Design and Global Supply Chain Management.
  • A solid understanding of engineering documentation practices, including schematics and component data sheets.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Educational Background
A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
