Veterinary Receptionist

The Veterinary Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and plays a crucial role in creating a positive experience. This position requires excellent communication and client service skills, as well as the ability to multitask and handle stressful situations.

• Greet clients and pets in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries
• Schedule appointments and surgeries
• Manage medical records and enter accurate charges
• Collect payment and process credit card transactions
• Verify client eligibility and check medical records for accuracy
• Fill prescriptions and provide routine administration instructions
• Advise clients on retail items and services

• Demonstrated commitment to the core values of Barrington Square Animal Hospital
• Computer knowledge and keyboarding skills
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology
• Excellent spelling and grammar
• Ability to handle stressful situations and display tact and respect
