Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Bellevue. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for delivering complex features that meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product management, project leads, and other software engineers to develop and deliver high-quality software features.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our codebase and product system, with a strong understanding of the overall architecture.
  • Identify and propose solutions to technical problems affecting development work, taking initiative to solve complex issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to decision-making at the product level and set direction for project-level initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to support the growth and development of other team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, C++, and 3D graphics rendering & math (OpenGL, VTK, WebGL, or similar).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with matching accomplishments.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including coding standards, build processes, testing, and version control.
  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies and solid planning, predicting, and estimating skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong CLI and/or Python skills; Windows GUI design and development.
  • Cloud design, deployment, processing, maintenance; scripting, build, and test automation.
  • Networking, encryption, code signing; database design, language, maintenance.
  • Machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, or other AI subfields.
  • Image processing, microscopy, and related software: ImageJ, Fiji, Arivis, Imaris, Amira, Neurolucida, or similar.
