Job OverviewPOSITION: BRANCH MANAGER

SUMMARY:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Branch Manager oversees the operational efficiency, financial performance, and customer service excellence of the Branch. This role involves leading and supervising Branch personnel, collaborating with the Sales Team to ensure complete customer satisfaction and achieve financial targets.

CORE DUTIES:

  • Oversee the management of staff and operations related to rental equipment and accessories, including inventory control, accounting, deliveries, services, and pickups.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their expectations are consistently met and exceeded, fostering goodwill for future business.
  • Uphold professional and ethical business practices with all stakeholders, adhering to established company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a key liaison between the Branch and corporate departments, such as Safety and Human Resources, ensuring compliance with regulations including EEO, FLSA, OSHA, etc.
  • Manage financial aspects including costs, revenues, P&L, and man-hour budgets to meet the Branch's financial objectives.
  • Oversee the recruitment and retention of Branch personnel, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor market competition and devise strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop plans for the efficient utilization of materials, personnel, and equipment as necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, presentations, and forecasts related to Branch performance, recommending budgets and marketing strategies to management.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or oilfield equipment rental and service, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Availability to work a schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM, with additional hours as needed based on customer requirements.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in leading teams to successfully complete departmental projects.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer skills; experience with RentalMan is advantageous.
