KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in menu creation and development, ensuring alignment with culinary trends and customer preferences.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Implement and uphold best practices for food safety and sanitation.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and requisitioning of products to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
- Support the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations during service and preparation.
- Drive team performance and motivate staff to achieve excellence in culinary execution.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in culinary management within a high-end food service environment.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
- Extensive knowledge of diverse culinary styles and proficiency in all cooking stations.
- Professional demeanor with strong leadership capabilities in a bustling kitchen atmosphere.
- Exceptional coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Physical capability to lift and carry items weighing between 10 to 50 pounds regularly.
The salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
