TEKsystems is seeking skilled professionals for the position of Commercial Security Installation Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for the installation and maintenance of commercial security solutions, with a particular emphasis on IP network systems and comprehensive security frameworks.
Essential Skills and Experience- Minimum of 1 year experience: Installing commercial and enterprise security solutions, which encompass access control systems, IP-based video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
- Minimum of 1 year experience: Diagnosing and programming commercial security systems, specifically within a client's network environment.
- Familiarity with device and manufacturer fundamentals: Understanding of HID card readers, Hanwha and Axis cameras, AiPhone and 2N intercoms, as well as access control and intrusion panel wiring.
Knowledge of: Familiarity with software such as Genetec, Honeywell Pro-Watch, C-Cure 9000, Lenel, OpenPath, Exacq, AMAG, Milestone S2 is advantageous.
Additional Qualifications- Ability to effectively listen and follow instructions.
- Capable of wiring field devices.
- Basic understanding of door and camera systems.
- Knowledge in IP cameras, intercoms, and security panels.
- Proficient in installing and wiring equipment utilized in security systems.
- Conducts tests on all equipment post-installation to verify system functionality.
- Comfortable working in large commercial facilities and high-rise buildings.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Strong communication abilities, along with a proactive and positive demeanor.
- A valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record are required for full-time employment.
