Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist
  • Conduct screenings of residents to determine therapy needs
  • Provide education to residents and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and integrated therapy services
  • Document all therapy services provided in accordance with facility policies and regulations
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapist Assistant Program
  • Current state license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred
