Cyber Security Leader for Schneider Electric USA, Inc

Schneider Electric USA, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Leader to join its Energy Management Business. This role will report to the Senior Vice President of the Sustainability Business Division and have a dotted line to the Group CISO.

The Cyber Security Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cyber security strategy that addresses the risks and enables the Energy Management business objectives. This includes building trust with customers, the ecosystem, and authorities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies, as well as experience in risk assessment, threat modeling, and security requirements definition. Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus.

The Cyber Security Leader will work closely with the business and cyber organizations to ensure that cyber security is integrated into all aspects of the business. This includes driving discussions with key strategic accounts on cyber security topics, raising situational awareness in the division, and conducting risk management activities.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, organizational intelligence, and communication skills. They will be able to influence and engage successfully with senior business and cyber leaders, and have experience in large business transformation programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy for the Energy Management Business
  • Drive discussions with key strategic accounts on cyber security topics
  • Raise situational awareness in the division on various cyber trends, controversies, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct risk management activities in cyber, data, products, and systems
  • Deploy product security essentials in the division's R&D activities
  • Drive regulatory compliance by raising awareness at the leadership level
  • Implement a robust control environment in the division
  • Articulate and deploy data protection requirements for offers within the division
  • Elevate the bar for Secure Development Lifecycle program
  • Lead product/offer Vulnerability & Controversies Management for the division
  • Lead Digital Offer and Digital Footprint security management for the division
  • Spearhead Product Security Maturity Model Implementation for the division
  • Support group strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • Strong business acumen and experience in product security
  • Experience in risk assessment, threat modeling, and security requirements definition
  • Knowledge of security standards and their application to product, offer, and wider digital security
  • Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM
  • Academic degree in Business and/or Engineering
