Corporate Accounting Intern

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in financial analysis and reporting, including preparation of financial statements and budgets
  • Support the accounting team in reviewing and analyzing company operating results
  • Conduct analytical reviews on major customers and competitors
  • Communicate internal audit procedures to divisional controllers and presidents
  • Research new and emerging accounting standards and their impact on Cretex
  • Participate in special projects at the corporate office or at an operating company, as directed by the senior accountant, controller, or leadership team
Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in an accredited accounting or finance degree program
  • Understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the corporate finance team
  • Collaborative skills and ability to work with the accounting team
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
