Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Risk and Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. This role will lead and provide oversight of the adverse event reporting platform, collaborating with executive, regional, and local leadership to create a sustainable culture of risk prevention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement risk reduction strategies throughout the HMH enterprise.
  • Optimize the adverse event reporting platform to meet the needs of stakeholders, ensuring efficiency and high-quality information.
  • Lead the governance structure to engage stakeholders in the creation of a reporting platform that meets the needs of Enterprise Risk Management, Patient Safety, and Patient Experience.
  • Develop and implement new programs to foster a culture of safety and a safe environment for patients, visitors, and team members.
  • Provide timely monthly reports to the Sr. VP & Chief Risk Officer of activities at the site.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Healthcare Risk Management or Patient Safety experience required.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management, Enterprise Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Management, or related health field.
  • Risk Management Certification.
