Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Coordinator to join its accounting team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with a seasoned management team and contribute to the success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial systems, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in the development, revision, and reporting of budgets.
  • Process and distribute funds to grantees.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate bank records.
  • Ensure adherence to contract terms and accounting policies.
  • Prepare monthly reports comparing budgeted amounts to actual expenditures.
  • Identify and address issues, and communicate them to program officers and the Grants Compliance Manager.
  • Follow established policies and ensure staff under supervision adhere to the same.
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, local, and district statutes, policies, regulations, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience with Excel (macros, pivot tables, Xlookup, indirect, index, etc).
  • 3-5 years of Grant Accounting experience.
  • GAAP knowledge.
