The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to our patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and patient education.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use.
- Develop and implement medication use policies and procedures.
- Conduct medication therapy reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical pharmacy practices and guidelines.
- Licensed in the State of Alaska as a Pharmacist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Additional qualifications for Pharmacist II: three (3) years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist and maintenance of a certification with the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS).
Compliance with our Employee Health Procedure is a condition of SCF employment. You are required to agree that you will comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations prior to your first day of employment.
Jobs designated as a Health Care Personnel (HCP) position, requires that you have documentation that you have completed the following immunizations prior to your first day of employment: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap (Tetanus - Diphtheria - Pertussis), and COVID-19 vaccination is required.
As an additional condition of employment, the successful applicant must be able to comply with the applicable standards of SCF's Background Check Policy, including the requirements imposed by the Alaska Barrier Crimes/Conditions and Background Checks regulations, the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act, the Crime Control Act of 1990, and the mandatory and permissive exclusion provisions of the Social Security Act.
