Pharmacist - Juneau

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at SEARHC. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by providing expert care and guidance on medication therapy.

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Provide clinical consultation and education to patients and healthcare providers
• Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely
• Enter prescriptions into pharmacy software and verify finished prescription orders
• Work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Pharm.D. degree and licensure as a registered pharmacist. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in reviewing patient medical history, labs, and medication orders, and have a working knowledge of computer application skills.

You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with patients and staff, and have the ability to work cooperatively within the healthcare system and pharmacy staff.
