Key Responsibilities- Monitor and improve supplier, supply chain, and value stream performance to mitigate risk and ensure the highest level of performance.
- Operate within the Supply Chain organizational goals and objectives, measuring performance and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide guidance on root cause analysis and execute organizational objectives and programs to reduce total costs.
- Develop and implement consistent performance metrics for suppliers and value streams.
- Facilitate strategic value stream improvements with cross-functional teams for supplier management and material risk mitigation.
- Project coordinate for assigned supplier-impacted programs, providing oversight and guidance to Supply Chain, Quality, and Regulatory functions.
- Evaluate and identify technical manufacturing capabilities of current and future suppliers, leading activities to close gaps where applicable.
- Support global supply chain, operations, and engineering to ensure commercial needs and requirements are met through effective and efficient supplier strategies.
- Establish and maintain effective cross-functional communication and working relationships between Abbott and Supplier's Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Regulatory, etc., functions.
- B.S. in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. M.S. in Computer Science.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven history of delivering results and strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ownership and accountability for the entire supply chain.
- Experience in working across functional areas and possess an understanding of the various operational disciplines.
- Strong oral and written presentation skills and ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
