Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Infrastructure to lead our team of Platform and Infrastructure engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our infrastructure roadmap, managing our cloud-based infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our infrastructure roadmap, ensuring alignment with our company objectives
  • Manage our cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Lead a team of Platform and Infrastructure engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our systems
  • Collaborate with other technical leaders and the executive team to ensure all partners are aligned
  • Make analytical decisions based on data, metrics, and rigorous written analysis
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Software Engineering, with leadership roles involving operating on public clouds
  • Strong technical expertise in managing large-scale web infrastructures, optimizing systems, and Linux environments
  • Experience with dynamic web frameworks, such as Ruby on Rails and Django
  • Proficiency in tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Chef for configuration management and automation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
