Director of Talent Infrastructure

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Talent Infrastructure to join our team at Atlassian. As a key member of our Talent Team, you will play a critical role in building and continuously improving the infrastructure that enables us to be an efficient, effective, and impactful team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner and thought leader to the Head of Talent and the Talent Leadership Team.
- Manage the Talent Team roadmap, OKRs, and projects, ensuring strategic prioritization and observable progress towards achieving business goals.
- Oversee the Talent Teams rhythm of business, including rituals and practices that ensure optimal collaboration in a global, distributed-first environment.
- Manage the ecosystem of Talent systems, tools, processes, and standards.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance the Talent Teams efficiency, effectiveness, and overall impact.
- Serve as the primary liaison between key partner teams (e.g., People Operations, People Insights, People Tech), ensuring optimal collaboration, alignment, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the data infrastructure across the team in collaboration with People Insights to ensure we have accurate data and reporting to inform decisions and measure the impact of our efforts.
- Support Talent Team budgeting and contracting, including the scaling up and scaling down of contract resources, in collaboration with Finance and Procurement teams.
- Amplify the use of our Talent programs, products, and services across the organization through effective portfolio management and marketing.
- Lead special projects and initiatives to support Talent Team success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Chief of Staff, or related HR roles supporting Talent organizations.
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives in a global, distributed-first environment.
- Experience designing and implementing end-to-end talent infrastructure solutions.
- Experience managing multiple complex projects and ensuring execution excellence.
- Experience being a strategic partner to an internal leadership team.
- Experience defining KPIs and using data to guide decisions and improvements.
- Experience building trusted and productive relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Experience creating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Experience building knowledge management systems.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools.
- Experience in contract and budget management.
What We Offer
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn, we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $201,700 - $269,000
Zone B: $181,600 - $242,100
Zone C: $167,500 - $223,300
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
