Role Summary:

The Warehouse / Logistics Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing various shipping and receiving functions within the organization. This role involves meticulous attention to detail and effective communication across departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping and Receiving Duties:
    • Preparation of receiving folders, including Certificates of Analysis (CoA).
    • Accurate data entry into the NAV system.
    • Loading and unloading shipments while conducting thorough inspections.
    • Identification, labeling, and organized storage of products.
    • Distribution of documents and files among internal teams.
    • Effective communication, both written and verbal, with various departments.
    • Preparation of Full Truckload (FTL), Less Than Truckload (LTL), and small package shipments.
    • Maintenance of Transportation Logs for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Systematic filing and organization of all shipping-related documentation.
  • Adherence to Warehouse Policies:
    • Identification and processing of non-conforming materials.
    • Reporting of damages and spills, including potential product disposal.
    • Collaboration and support for departmental and company staff.
    • Upholding a professional demeanor at all times.
    • Completion of miscellaneous tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in shipping and receiving operations.
  • Forklift operation experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong skills in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Experience in inspecting inbound and outbound shipments, along with product labeling and storage.
  • Familiarity with Full Truckload (FTL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipping methods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
