Insider Threat Security Specialist

About the Role:
Amentum is seeking an experienced Insider Threat Security Specialist to join our team. As an Insider Threat Security Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the security of our information systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise (SAFe) to develop, integrate, operate, and sustain specialized Insider Threat Office Information Technology (IT) in accordance with Executive Order (E.O.) 13587 and the National Insider Threat Policy.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for the management of all Insider Threat Program IT.
- Analyze, plan, design, document, assess, and manage the IT enterprise structural framework to align IT systems with the mission, goals, and business processes of the organization.
- Consult with customers to refine functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical specifications that implement new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of the Insider Threat Program.
- Translate technical specifications into programming specifications; develop, customize, or acquire applications software programs; test, debug, and maintain software programs.
- Test, install, configure, and maintain networks including hardware (servers, hubs, bridges, switches, and routers) and software that permits the sharing and transmission of information.
- Develop and administer databases used to store and retrieve data and develop standards for the handling of information.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software to ensure the availability and functionality of systems.
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through analysis, planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security, policies, procedures, and tools.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of general administration of Insider Threat program information technology, systems administration, information systems security, and database administration.
- Good communications skills. Ability to conceptualize system relationships using diagrams and explain how systems interact with one another.
- 3+ years of direct experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, management information science, or a math, science, engineering or other technical discipline, related technical certification, or equivalent experience within related field.
- Must possess an active U.S. Government issued TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience managing assignment of technical support team staff members to system management initiatives, and supervision/direction of activities of those staff members.
- Experience formulating requirements associated with an Insider Threat program's Network/System/Software information technology and database systems.
- Experience leading development and maintenance of Insider Threat Network/System/Software information technology and database systems, and or data warehouse implementations.
