Position Overview:
Under minimal supervision, the Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist I is responsible for delivering exceptional sonographic imaging in a specialized pediatric environment, ensuring accurate interpretation and diagnosis by a Pediatric Radiologist. This role emphasizes adherence to established quality and patient safety protocols, as well as maintaining professional conduct as outlined by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform high-quality pediatric ultrasound examinations in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and procedural areas.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate optimal patient care.
• Uphold departmental policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance and safety.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with night shifts, specifically from Friday to Sunday, 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • A minimum of two to three years of experience in pediatric ultrasound is required.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • ARDMS certification is mandatory.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, either from the American Heart Association (AHA) or an equivalent recognized program.
