Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production departments with preventative maintenance of mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and experience with equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain spreaders bars and chains for moving production chillers
  • Utilize large overhead cranes to move production chillers
  • Utilize a forklift to move equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment
  • Assist production departments with 5S projects
  • Support maintenance technician with minor mechanical repairs to plant equipment
  • Audit autonomous maintenance done by operators and provide training to improve effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with EHS & JCMS goals and metrics
  • Participate in EHS & JCMS observations program
  • Maintain security policy, health, and environment at work
  • Participate in training program
  • Assist in defining corrective and preventive actions
  • Control system logs in your area
  • Identify and correct unsafe acts and recognize safe behavior
  • Identify and report potential environmental impacts
  • Report all injuries, accidents, unsafe acts/conditions, and occupational health problems
  • Support and comply with all security practices, systems, and rules established in the company
  • Keep areas clean and tidy, maintaining 5S standards
  • Properly use Personal Protective Equipment
  • Review and participate in risk assessments ensuring the level of alertness in their areas when working with materials and chemicals
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
