Sales Associate Hardlines Part Time w/Benefits

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at the Navy Exchange. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting our brand and image.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Proactively engage with customers, ask questions, and listen to their needs to provide personalized assistance.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Sales: Cross-sell products, suggest latest trends and promotions, and upsell products to meet customer needs.
- Inventory: Manage merchandise, complete inventory processes, and ensure accurate ticketing.
- Dependability: Adhere to assigned work schedule, follow through on work assignments, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Basic Knowledge: Familiarity with products and merchandise.
- Retail Experience: Preferred but not required.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic math functions, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to multitask, work as part of a team, and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Involves lifting at least 25 lbs. and up to 50lbs in some departments. Work typically performed indoors but may be assigned outdoors depending upon location.
