Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Diesel Technician to join our team at Haul USA. As a key member of our Fleet Services division, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the maintenance and repair of our fleet of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle organization and tracking of purchase orders
• Organize the shop workload for the shop technicians
• Order parts for the shop
• Work with the Shop Service Manager on leadership tasks
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks and trailers
• Conduct DOT inspections per FMSCA guidelines

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Own necessary essential tools
• Technical or advanced degree or 5+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
• Ability to obtain a Class B license
• ASE Certification in 4 areas (preventative maintenance and brakes preferred)

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
