About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest vehicle maintenance techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
  • ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
