Rental Cashier

Sell lift tickets, passes, and retail items to guests, while providing exceptional customer service and answering questions about Skibowl and the Mt. Hood area. Utilize a computerized tracking system for retail equipment rentals and cash handling.

• Accurately and efficiently use the computerized ticket selling program.
• Direct guests and employees to desired locations and provide accurate information.
• Answer telephones and radios, responding to or transferring calls in a timely manner.
• Set up, stock, clean, and organize retail stores as needed.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Skibowl and surrounding areas.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures and maintain the highest safety standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Display a positive attitude and willingness to work.
• Familiarity with Excel programs and sign making.
• Retail experience and prior cash handling experience.
• Ability to work in a small area for long periods and lift 25lbs if needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends, including holidays.
• Proficiency with computers and software programs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Problem-solving and team leadership skills.

• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Smile and provide excellent customer service.
• Protect Skibowl and Mt. Hood Management property and assets.
• Address issues promptly and inform the appropriate department manager.
• Assist guests and work closely with multiple departments.
