Position Overview:

The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of ambulatory facilities through various cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Polish and clean lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
  • Thoroughly clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
  • Perform sweeping and vacuuming of floors.
  • Dust and wipe down furniture and equipment.
  • Polish metal surfaces.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
  • Clean windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
  • Restock bathroom supplies as needed.
  • Move small equipment or tools between departments.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the janitorial field is preferred.
  • Experience in medical cleaning is advantageous.
  • Post-offer medical evaluation, background screening, and drug testing are required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position require the employee to stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks. Frequent climbing, kneeling, and lifting of up to 50 lbs are necessary.

Close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus are essential, with or without corrective lenses. There may be exposure to chemicals that require specific safety equipment.

Work Environment:

The work environment may involve exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and occasionally working near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is typically quiet.
