We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painting Crew Leader to join our team at ACP Painting LLC. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for leading a team of painters and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of 4 painters, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and plan and execute projects accordingly.
- Use exceptional time management skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Train and develop less experienced painters to improve their skills and performance.
- Order supplies, estimate labor requirements, and prepare work orders as needed.
- Conduct performance assessments and provide feedback to team members.
- Attend meetings and contribute to the development of the team.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of alkyd materials and paint chemistry, including vehicle, binder, and pigment.
- Complete knowledge of MSDS and tech datasheet uses.
- Basic carpentry skills, including the ability to replace, install, and repair fascia board, door trim, door casings, and baseboards.
- Basic knowledge of job costing and the ability to estimate small jobs up to $1,500.
- Current driver's license.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
