Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Saint Cloud Hospital. As a Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced acute rehab setting, providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an acute rehab setting, including medical, surgical, orthopedics, neurological, neurosurgery, cardiac, and critical care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in an acute care setting.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Valid MN license.
Work Schedule

We are seeking a candidate who is willing to work 5x8 days with every 4th weekend. Shift times are 08:00 - 16:30, with 40 hours GTD.

Additional Requirements
  • Travelers' primary residence must be at least 50 miles away from the facility.
