Overview
Norman Regional Health System stands at the forefront of workplace excellence in the Oklahoma City metro area. Our innovative cardiovascular program is poised for expansion, and we seek a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to join our team.
We are proud to be moving into a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our collaborative environment thrives with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists working together towards exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
This role requires meticulous preparation and attention to detail:
- Ensures equipment readiness before and during procedures
- Conducts thorough assessments of patient conditions
- Maintains a sterile environment throughout all procedures
Professional Development
This position offers opportunities for growth and mentorship:
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participates in the orientation of new staff members
- Utilizes downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Achieve all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
- Possess current ARRT or RCIS certification
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- Basic Life Support training required; ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire
Compensation and Benefits
This rewarding opportunity comes with a competitive compensation package:
$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience
