Forensic Mental Health Specialist

At Hire Evolution Consulting, we are seeking a skilled Forensic Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a Forensic Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to inmates at correctional facilities in the Vacaville area.
In this role, you will conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine mental health status, risk factors, and treatment needs. You will also provide individual and group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and anger management.
A typical day may include collaborating with other members of the correctional facility staff, including correctional officers, medical professionals, and social workers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for inmates. You will participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss inmate cases and coordinate care.
Additionally, you will provide consultation to correctional staff regarding inmates' mental health concerns and behavioral management strategies. You will complete required documentation and maintain accurate records of all psychological services provided to inmates.
