Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Turning Point Community Programs. As a key member of our community-based care team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs.
About the Role:
- Assist members in achieving their personal goals, while living in the community.
- Advocate for members in all areas of treatment and help them access necessary services.
- Provide support in medication management, housing, vocation, counseling, and advocacy.
- Participate in after-hours 'on-call' coverage on a rotational basis.
Responsibilities:
- Carry a caseload of clients, varying depending on acuity and program requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and complete required documentation.
- Assist clients in accessing and maintaining suitable housing.
- Educate community members and other agencies about mental health services.
- Attend to the safety, health, and well-being of members.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience providing direct mental health services.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions:
This role requires working Sunday-Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Occasional travel may be required.
