As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic and Repair Expertise: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair complex automotive issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems.
- Communication and Customer Service: Effectively communicate with customers and service advisors to provide accurate estimates and repair updates, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Technical Knowledge and Skills: Possess a strong understanding of automotive systems, including engine repair, transmission repair, and electrical systems.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Service Technician in a dealership or repair shop environment.
- Certifications: State Inspection certification and ASE Certification (recommended).
- Skills: Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment, learn new technology, and repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Competitive Compensation: $60K-$85K salary range.
- Sign-on Bonus: Up to $1,500 based on experience and certification(s).
- Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K plan with employer match, and paid time off.
- Professional Development: ASE and state inspection certification reimbursement, and all training expenses paid to further your career.
