Role Summary: The Heat Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating heat press machinery to produce customized collegiate jerseys. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and interpret work orders and designs from teams.
  • Prepare and layout designs according to specifications.
  • Prioritize production schedules and manage sales orders effectively.
  • Maintain inventory of blank materials and necessary components.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment and materials to identify any defects or issues.
  • Monitor print quality and address any rejections promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • At least 1 year of experience operating heat press machinery is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with the equipment and tools necessary for heat pressing.
  • Capability to perform basic machine setups and operate tools proficiently.
  • Willingness to receive guidance and supervision during machine operations.
  • Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, including Lock-out/Tag-Out procedures.
  • Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.

Working Environment: The physical demands of this role include sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands for handling controls. The position requires frequent reaching and the ability to adjust focus for close vision tasks.
