Job Summary:

Adroit Partners, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Purchase Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Contract and Purchasing Operations department, you will be responsible for directing the fulfillment of contract and purchasing requirements for operational and construction services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Manage the preparation of operational and construction contracts, including drafting of various required documentation for final distribution on project-specific jobs and ensuring proper funding is in place.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Research and ensure compliance with state procurement laws and University policies on the execution of contract actions.
  • Team Leadership: Plan, develop, and administer methods, strategies, and procedures for meeting program objectives; direct and oversee the daily activities of staff members.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Direct the preparation of and reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward contract administration and ensure no gaps in service.
  • Financial Management: Monitor the annual budgets and ensure that expenditures are within budget allocation. Assist with the preparation of budgets.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with various reporting requirements, including state mandate reporting on contract actions.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyze trends within assigned areas, maintaining expert awareness of program information and change needs.
  • Policies and Procedures: Formulate, implement, and maintain appropriate policies and procedures concerning contract administration.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise assigned staff in the performance of duties.
