About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to our patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing education to patients and their families. You will also be responsible for documenting patient care and collaborating with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Implement and manage patient care plans in collaboration with our healthcare team
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Document patient care and progress in our electronic health record system
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
