Role Summary

The Automotive Service Consultant serves as the main liaison for clients seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services at our dealership.

Essential Duties

  • Coordinate service appointments by collecting detailed information regarding required repairs.
  • Welcome clients upon arrival, conduct a thorough vehicle inspection, and accurately document their concerns for the service technicians.
  • Keep clients updated on necessary repairs, adjustments to cost estimates, and the anticipated completion time for their vehicles.
  • Conduct a comprehensive vehicle handover at the time of customer pick-up, reviewing all services performed and discussing the final invoice.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Enhance job knowledge by engaging in training sessions offered by the company or manufacturer.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in automotive service is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-up abilities.
  • A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive for success.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening.
