Job Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in our production facility. As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized to meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain sanitation equipment, including foamers, steam hoses, and CIP systems.
  • Conduct regular cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment and facilities.
  • Verify that all cleaning and sanitizing procedures are followed and documented.
  • Communicate any food safety-related issues to supervisors or managers.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of sanitation procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a food production environment, preferably in sanitation or maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to 60 pounds.
Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced production environment with frequent exposure to chemicals and cleaning solutions. The ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues is essential.
