As a primary contractor, we excel in executing a wide array of construction disciplines, particularly in technically demanding mechanical and energy projects.

Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced Fuel Operations Site Managers to oversee our projects in Channel Islands, CA.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of management experience in Department of Defense (DoD) POL construction within the last five years. It is essential that candidates do not have prior experience in commercial construction or military roles as POL or LFM/WFSM. Preferred experience includes:

  • Installation of piping and valves
  • Mechanical repairs or upgrades
  • Tank construction or repair
  • Application of MIL DTL 24441 coatings
  • API and SSPC inspections
  • Commissioning of POL systems

Additional skills and certifications required:

  • OSHA 30 Hour Training Certificate (valid within the last five years)
  • Confined Space Competent Person Certificate
  • Current CPR & AED Certification
  • Eligibility for access to US Government facilities

A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience is preferred.

  • Knowledge of POL-related construction disciplines, safety regulations, and project management

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise onsite trade workers and subcontractors to ensure project completion aligns with safety, quality, and budgetary standards
  • Oversee safety protocols on site
  • Plan and monitor work schedules, assessing manpower, materials, and equipment needs
  • Evaluate work performance to maintain project specifications and safety standards
  • Facilitate onsite meetings and communicate updates effectively
  • Document daily project activities, including safety meetings and production reports
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team to address potential issues and facilitate resolutions
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure project requirements are met
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under company policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
