We are looking for an exceptional individual to enhance our Facilities Services division. The Senior Facilities Engineer will oversee a diverse range of responsibilities related to the upkeep and functionality of our properties and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
This position demands a strong technical background, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
The Senior Facilities Engineer will act as the primary liaison for the facilities team following the conclusion of the Chief Engineer's shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will include . . .
Assisting the Chief Building Engineer with the management of work orders and oversight of tasks, projects, and work orders executed by the Building Engineers and external contractors.
Completing assigned work orders.
Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the building as directed.
Maintaining communication with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Responding swiftly to maintenance requests and urgent situations.
Working overtime as necessary.
Adhering to company standards regarding personal appearance.
Performing physical tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting, bending, and stooping.
Transporting and maneuvering heavy items.
Working in confined spaces.
Identifying and resolving issues related to building integrity and aesthetics.
Driving company vehicles to various locations.
Operating a forklift.
Ensuring all work areas are clean and safe.
Keeping tools organized and well-maintained.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the maintenance shop and all equipment.

Qualifications:
Essential Experience:
5-7 years of experience in commercial or corporate facility maintenance.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
