About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse on our Burk 1 unit, you will provide high-quality care to our residents with chronic and acute illnesses. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, and develop care plans to address these needs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • AHA BLS CPR certification.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
