Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructures, including television, internet, and telecommunication lines.
- Conduct site assessments to identify optimal installation techniques and materials.
- Test and diagnose cable systems to ensure they operate effectively.
- Replace or mend defective cables, hardware, and equipment.
- Keep precise records of installations, repairs, and service requests.
- Engage with clients to clarify the installation or repair procedures and provide necessary information.
- Ensure all tasks adhere to company policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Perform regular maintenance to guarantee the durability and reliability of cable systems.
- Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry advancements.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience as a Cable Technician or in a comparable role.
- In-depth knowledge of cable systems, including television, internet, and telecommunication lines.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools related to cable installation and maintenance.
- Adept at reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
