Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructures, including television, internet, and telecommunication lines.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify optimal installation techniques and materials.
  • Test and diagnose cable systems to ensure they operate effectively.
  • Replace or mend defective cables, hardware, and equipment.
  • Keep precise records of installations, repairs, and service requests.
  • Engage with clients to clarify the installation or repair procedures and provide necessary information.
  • Ensure all tasks adhere to company policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
  • Perform regular maintenance to guarantee the durability and reliability of cable systems.
  • Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry advancements.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Cable Technician or in a comparable role.
  • In-depth knowledge of cable systems, including television, internet, and telecommunication lines.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools related to cable installation and maintenance.
  • Adept at reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
