Job Description

In this role, you will be immersed in complex systems and their integrations for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Your primary responsibility is to enable service teams and operators to manage frequent changes safely and with minimal cognitive load. This entails designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software among our databases, applications, tools, networks, etc.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, written, and communication skills. They must also possess a good knowledge of API and application design and architecture. Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), monitoring and observability tools, cloud services, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and common IDEs such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, and IntelliJ is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

You will work with architects, operators, and senior engineers to define and document features to enhance products and services. You will implement high-quality code, review code written by peers, participate in design reviews of our tools and services, resolve performance and scalability issues, identify opportunities to improve product health, scalability, and resiliency, and build and execute unit tests and integration plans to prevent regressions.

Benefits

Candidates are typically placed into a salary range based on factors such as experience, market conditions, and location. The estimated salary for this position ranges from $62,100 to $158,200 per annum, with opportunities for bonus and equity.
