Medical Device Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Software Developer to join our team at Starcom Consulting Limited.
Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have expertise in C++ and medical device software development, with experience working within the IEC 62304 standard. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software for medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Develop Embedded Software: Utilize C++ to design and develop embedded software for medical devices, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to industry standards.
- Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all software development processes adhere to the IEC 62304 standard, guaranteeing regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and QA teams to develop software architecture and design documentation, conduct code reviews, and perform unit testing and integration testing.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues, maintain and update existing software, and ensure compatibility with new hardware or software versions.
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree: Hold a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in C++: Possess proven experience in software development with a strong focus on C++.
- IEC 62304 Knowledge: Have knowledge of the IEC 62304 standard and experience working within a regulated medical device environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
