About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Manager to join our team at Republic Airways. As a key member of our maintenance operations, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing aircraft maintenance activities to ensure cost-effective and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of mechanics to achieve high-quality maintenance results while adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintenance Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to meet operational demands, utilizing available resources to optimize productivity.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance department, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and FAA guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, plus 6 years of A&P experience, including at least two years in a supervisory or lead position.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, and feel, reach with hands/arms up to 20% of the time, and lift up to 50 pounds at least 20% of the time.
Work Environment
  • Working Conditions: Work near moving mechanical parts, work with fumes or airborne particles over 50% of the time, and work in outdoor weather conditions within an open-air hangar up to 20% of the time.
  • Travel Requirements: Able to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight stays.

Compensation Package: The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
