Are you a planning expert looking to join a team that shapes the future of aviation infrastructure?

We are seeking an Aviation Planner at STV Incorporated in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for planning work that includes inventory of existing conditions, forecasting, capacity analysis, facility requirements, alternatives development, and CIP planning for master plan projects and other planning studies.

  • Perform various planning activities as part of a larger planning team.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support design projects.
  • Produce high-quality exhibits and documents to communicate planning study results.
  • Lead and manage planning projects, working closely with clients.
  • Contribute significantly to the team's overall success and project outcomes.
  • Pursue certifications such as AICP, AAAE CM, and PMP.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management, aeronautical science, planning, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in aviation planning.
  • Technical expertise in standard airport planning procedures and approaches.
  • Familiarity with FARs, FAA Advisory Circulars, and FAA orders relevant to airport planning.
  • Proficiency in software used for airport planning, data management, and publication programs.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a consulting firm environment.
  • Experience working with FAA ADIP is highly valued.
Compensation Range:$69,872 - $93,163
