This role is situated within the Renesas BMS division. The primary objective of this position is to develop cell designs and various top-level layouts for our Battery Management System (BMS) engineering teams. The projects encompass power management systems, analog components, and digital core layouts. The selected candidate will leverage the Cadence toolset and will collaborate closely with circuit designers, layout engineers, and the CAD team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct top-level layout floor planning.
2. Design and verify custom cell layouts.
3. Finalize the physical layout design while adhering to circuit design specifications.
4. Manage the release and archiving of mask data.
5. Validate the physical layout design to ensure compliance with both circuit design and process requirements.
6. Implement innovative tools and methodologies to enhance layout design quality and efficiency.
