About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our Customer Trust Gateway organization, you will play a critical role in designing and developing high-quality, user-centric web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build responsive, user-friendly web applications using React, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on using TypeScript to enhance reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver cohesive and high-quality digital experiences.
  • Utilize object-oriented programming techniques to design and implement reusable, modular components that align with front-end development standards and practices.
  • Engage in discussions about micro-frontend architecture and contribute to the development of modular, scalable front-end solutions that integrate seamlessly with other system components.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks and knowledge of testing strategies and tools for ensuring code quality and reliability in front-end development.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and their application in front-end development to create clean, maintainable code.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies such as NestJS, SQL, and NoSQL databases, as well as experience with microservices architecture.
