About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Data Security Application Developer to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data security applications using Java as the primary programming language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy data security applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement and maintain secure coding practices to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to identify and address security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate security measures into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data security and software development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in Java programming and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
  • Strong knowledge of data security principles, practices, and protocols.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven).
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality code on time and within budget.
